Q: How does a Parking Charge Notice Ticket System work?

A: A ticket called a PCN (Parking Charge Notice) will be applied to the vehicle when parked in contravention of The Parking Ticket Company warning signs.

Once the PCN has been issued, the registered keeper / driver / hirer of the vehicle has 28 days to pay the charge of £100 as indicated on the warning notices. If the payment is received within fourteen days a discount of £40 is applied.

In the event of a charge not being paid within 28 days, we apply to the DVLA for the registered keepers's name & address so that non-payment of the charge can be recovered through our debt recovery service.

Q: How much will the services cost me?

A: Thirty pounds per year per sign is the only cost, the fee includes installation and maintenance / replacement of the warning signs should they require it.

Q: How often will my site be patrolled and enforced?

A: If you require the site to be patrolled and enforced on a regular basis this can of course be activated with the use of one of our local agents. Or you may prefer only to use the enforcement service on an ad hoc basis. The service can be tailored to your individual needs and is completely flexible.

Q: Will someone assess my requirements?

A: Yes, one of our Area Operations Directors will conduct an initial meeting and site survey to discuss all your requirements and present The Parking Ticket Company philosophy.

Q: Do you operate under a contract?

A: Yes, The Parking Ticket Company does not operate anywhere or for anyone without an agreed and signed operational contract.

Q: Am I covered for Public and Personal Liabilities?

A: Yes, The Parking Ticket Company carry Public and Personal liabilities cover of £10 and £5 million respectively.

Q: Is there an Appeals and Complaints procedure?

A: Yes, we have an appeals and complaints department specifically dedicated to resolving any queries regarding the ethical treatment of the members of the public and the professional conduct of our personnel in the field.

Q: Do you have a manned Headquarters?

A: Yes, we have a dedicated staff at our headquarters dealing on a daily basis with the members of the public, our operatives and our client's needs.

Q: How can a Parking Charge Notice be paid?

A: Online, by telephone, at any bank and by post.

Q: Can you provide me with quality references?

Q: Are your staff vetted and trained?
